One thing a lover of historic properties might want to know about me, is that I have lived in a centuries-old home for decades. I love its quirks and its long history. Those who are drawn to older properties find a kind of charm that no new homes can reproduce. And yes, most historic homes also come with a bit of extra responsibility too. It takes work and love to maintain an historic home.
My real estate firm specializes in representing the farms, estates, and homes of the Central Virginia area surrounding the city of Charlottesville (known by locals as “C’ville”). The city is in the middle of Albemarle County, and our focus on rural properties means that we tend to have clients from outlying counties as well. We are proud of our reputation as a highly technological firm, and we market using internet technology. In my case I’ve been in the business for decades and I’m lucky to also have clients who come back to me each time they relocate. My clients and my friends usually end up being the same people.
Special areas of interest for me are equestrian properties and golf communities. I have been active in the horse business and equestrian sporting for many years… this gives me a lot of first hand knowledge about horse farms, horse events, and the local equestrian community. And I guess my golf game is a work in progress.
